It has more than 900 acres of preserved open space protected habitat and 10 miles of hiking, biking, and riding trails. This is not one of those new real estate developments. Artifacts dating back 0ver 9,000 years have been found in Del Mar Mesa and the San Diego Archaeological Center is studying them carefully.
