Yeah, this is a nice place to raise the kids. Del Mar Mesa is a semi-rural residential community. It has more than 900 acres of preserved open space protected habitat and 10 miles of hiking, biking, and riding trails. This is not one of those new real estate developments. Artifacts dating back 0ver 9,000 years have been found in Del Mar Mesa and the San Diego Archaeological Center is studying them carefully.

Believe it or not, as of this writing there are no indications of Violent Crime in Del Mar Mesa. Theft is the primary Property Crime and the Del Mar Mesa crime rates are so far below the National figures as to be insignificant.
